New Feature: Color-Coded Activities & Service Orders DMCs
Checking things off your Results To-Do List and completing Service Orders just became easier in Results 2017!
The brand new Results 2017 patch 17.1.2 includes color-coded Activity & Service Order Data Management Centers (DMCs). This new color coding allows users to stay super-organized and quickly pick up tasks to complete based on the Activity or Service Order Type.
Users can select a default color for each Activity Type or Service Order Type.
Users can override default colors by selecting the Calendar tab on a particular Activity or Service Order and then selecting a new color.

Results 2017 is Available!
New Features in Results 2017
Results 2017 is now available for download from the Customer Care Center. Check out some of the top new features in this release:
Specialized search for “Relationship Inactivity” to identify contacts that have no Activities, Quotes, Sales Orders and/or Invoices within a specified date range.
Drag-and-Drop Documents into Results on any Contact, Activity, Sales Opportunity, Quote, Invoice or other document screen.
Simultaneously select multiple records at once in the DMC. Use Shift+Click to select the check boxes for all records between previous highlighted and the currently selected record. You can also use the shift-down arrow to check the next row.

Creating Holiday Card Labels in Results
It’s that hectic time of year again! How can your CRM help you with holiday prep? Here is a step-by-step guide that takes you from creating your holiday card list to printing envelopes or labels.
Step 1: Create a Named Search to Identify Your List
- Within the Contacts tab, click Advanced Search. The Contacts center will open. Click Maintain Named Searches.
- The Named Search screen opens. Find the Contact Type field name in the list of fields on the left hand side of the screen.
- Double-click Contact Type so that the field appear on the grey area of the screen.
- Double click on that entry to set the parameters around the Contact Type. Select the Value from the drop-down list. IN the example below, we selected to include “Clients: Active Major Accounts.”
- If you would like to include more than one Contact Type, change the Link Search Criteria to “OR” and repeat steps 2-4. In the example below, we have now included “Clients: Active Major Accounts” OR “Clients: Active Regular Accounts”.
- When you are done adding Contact Types to your search criteria, click the Save You will be prompted to give your new Named Search a name. Type in the name and click OK.
- Close the Named Search screen. Your new Named Search will now appear in all Contact Named Search drop-downs throughout Results.
Step 2: Create the Labels
After building the Named Search, you have two choices for printing your labels. You can either use the built-in label reports in Results or export the Named Search to Excel and use the Excel Mail Merge feature.
To Export your list to Excel:
- Open the Contacts Center by clicking the Manage icon on the Contacts tab.
- On the Advanced Search tab, select your Named Search from the drop-down list and click Apply.
- The Contacts meeting your search criteria will appear within the Contact center.
- Click the Export to Excel button within the Contact Center. You are now ready to use Excel Mail Merge for your envelopes or labels.

We just announced our official integration with TSheets!
As Sam Saab explains in our Press Release, “We are extremely pleased to add the TSheets integration to our list of built-in popular integrations. This new integration is yet another way that we help businesses grow and prosper by delivering a complete and flexible approach to business information management from anywhere at any time.”
The Results and TSheets integration boosts productivity by allowing users to clock-in and clock-out in either TSheets or Results, using their desktop or mobile device. Field Service technicians and mobile users will be able to automatically clock-in/out of each service/work order and capture before-and-after pictures and signature making the updating of their timesheets a seamless part of their work and keeping the timesheet content accurate for client-billing and employee and vendor compensation.
